Hi I’m Kelsie – I live with my husband, our 3 children, 2 dogs, 1 horse and 4 ponies in a small town in the South West. I adore the country and the lifestyle it offers. I’m most happy at home enjoying our property with my family, at the local dam walking the dogs or curled up watching a movie (I LOVE movies …. except scary ones lol)
My love of photography started 14yrs ago when my eldest son was a baby I wanted to capture all those moments and milestones of him growing up. From there it grew as I welcomed my daughter and youngest son. I was always camera in hand whether it was at home with the kids and pets or out family gatherings or even on my own in nature.
After the passing of my Father In Law five years ago I realised how little photos we had of him with all of us. People say to just enjoy the moments, but when you lose someone you love you realise how important it is to have photos to look back on. To not just remember the times spent together but to be able to see them too. It was then that I decided I wanted to do that for other people as well, not just for my own family. So I studied photography at the Photography Institute, attended workshops with world renowned photographers, did online courses, shootouts with other photographers and practiced constantly on friends and family until I felt I was ready to start my business.
The last few years since opening have been amazing! I have met the most incredible people, won awards and had my photos published in multiple magazines. I have met so many other photographers doing this job that have become my friends, its so special to have people in my life that truly understand my passion and occasionally obsession with photography as its theirs too!
Mostly I’m thankful for my clients! Thank you all for trusting me to capture and create beautiful photos for you to enjoy and treasure forever. It means the world to me and is the reason I love my job so very much.
Kelsie xx
